In collaboration with National Urban Indian Family Coalition (NUIFC), the Civic Engagement program reaches out to the indigenous community through Integrated Voter Engagement with efforts of education about elections to make sure our community’s voice is heard.

How to Vote in Texas

In Texas, the final day to register to vote is October 11th and can be done in-person or by mail. Online registration is not allowed. For more help, visit nuifc.org/vote

To request an absentee ballot, voters in Texas must provide an excuse if they are under the age of 65.

If an absentee ballot is not possible, Texas allows early voting from October 24 to November 4 at local polling places.

In-person voting on Election Day runs from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
