Dan Worrall, Ph.D., author of A Prehistory of Houston and Southeast Texas: Landscape and Culture, will describe how the Akokisa, Native Americans who lived in the Houston area in the 18th & 19th centuries, adapted to conditions along the Gulf Coast.
